Among those, parasailing is one of the best venturous and fascinating sea sports here. Parasailing is a recreational activity where a person is towed behind a speedboat while attached to a specially designed parachute. People in the parachute are pulled up into the air behind a boat, creating an extremely exciting feeling of high fly. Players are equipped with life jackets and protected by safe belts and buckles across their waists and hips. When the parachute is being pulled up, players will be hanging over the height of 70-100 meters from the sea level, where they can freely behold the stunning panoramic view of the sea below.
“At first, I felt very scared but then it was so great experience while hovering in the air that I have never had. I could embrace the overall landscape below and suddenly all distress and sadness in real life disappear. What an extraordinarily awful feeling when flying with a parasailing!” shared Ms. Diem Tien, 28 years old, a tourist from Long An province.
Actually, the feeling of tilting and flying with parachute in the wind direction is an unforgettable experience in life. The cost for each “flight” is not very expensive, about VND 600,000 trip for 2 players within from 10-15 minutes. Each “flight” requires 6-7 people to prepare all steps for the safety of players.
According to Mr. Trung, 142 years old, owners of parasailing business organization, safety for players and visitors is one of his first leading criteria when running business. He employed only experienced and skilled workers so that they can rescue the players and tourists in case of need. Usually, there are about 30-40 “flights” per day on big holidays or Tet festival and from 15-20 “flights” on weekends.
If you have a chance to visit Hon Rom on weekends or big vacations, let’s try the parasailing to experience the incomparable feeling and keep the best memory on the location with beautiful beach, nice people and friendly environment.
