Expressing his pleasure when receiving Mr. Mathias Hollander and the Delegation, Chairman Doan Anh Dung highly appreciated CIP Group's investment procedures in La Gan offshore wind power project, affirming that such investment will make a great contribution to the state budget and job creation for the local workers. With the prestige of CIP Group in its investment in clean energy and renewable energy, the project is a great opportunity for Binh Thuan to accelerate the development of the industry in general and renewable energy in particular.
Ahead of the Lunar New Year 2023, Chairman Dung wished Mr. Mathias Hollander and the members of the Delegation good health and success in their investment activities in Vietnam, especially the offshore wind power project in Binh Thuan province.
Reportedly, CIP Group is a fund management company for renewable energy development. In July 2020, CIP Group and two Vietnamese partners signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province to develop the 3.5 GW La Gan offshore wind power project, with a total investment of 10.5 billion USD. The La Gan offshore wind power project has been included in the National Power Development Plan.
