Binh Thuan won 4 medals at the National Junior Chess Championship 2023

BTO – Beyond 1,300 chess players from 41 provinces/cities/clubs across the country competed for Saten Cup at the National Junior Chess Championship 2023 which was held in Can Tho City.

Participated in the competition, 39 chess players representing for Binh Thuan province have outstandingly won one gold, 1 silver, and 2 bronze medals in a variety of chess categories.

This year’s National Junior Chess Championship 2023 covers several contents such as flash, fast, standard, and traditional chess competitions, set for the age groups of U6, U7, U8, U9, U10, U11, U13, U15, U17, and U20.

The event aims to select excellent players to participate in the 2023 National Excellent Young Chess Championship scheduled to take place in August in the mountainous province of Thai Nguyen. Likewise, it also selects the national chess team to compete in the regional and world youth chess tournaments in 2023 and 2024.
