The championship took place from August 21 to 30, featuring 306 athletes from 24 provinces, cities, and sectors across the country.
The Binh Thuan Canoeing team competed in two age groups: (15-18 years) and (18-22 years). In the 15-18 age group, the Binh Thuan team won a bronze medal in the C4 event for the 500m distance and another bronze in the C1 event for the 200m distance.
In the 18-22 age group, Binh Thuan secured a gold medal in the C2 event for the 200m distance, a silver medal in the C1 event for the 200m distance, and four bronze medals (in the K2 event for the 200m distance, C2 events for the 1,000m and 500m distances, and the C1 event for the 1,000m distance).
This achievement reflects the efforts of the Binh Thuan Canoeing team this season, with a total of one gold medal, one silver medal, and six bronze medals.
