About 50 international buyers representing tour operators, travel agents and communications agencies from 18 countries and teritorries all over the world, as follows: Germany, Italy, France, Switzerland, Norway, Turkey, Russia, Austria, Greece, Poland, the US, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, India, China, Hong Kong (China’s special administrative region), South Korea, and Malaysia arrived at Binh Thuan after taking part in the International Travel Expo- Ho Chi Minh City (ITE-HCMC 2014).
The delegation highly appreciated considerate reception organized by local tourism sector. They also showed strong impression on folk art performance and diversified menu with a variety of sea products.
Adressing at the welcoming ceremony, Mr. Do Van Ba-Deputy Director of Binh Thuan Department of Culture-Sports and Tourism emphasized that: “In the juncture of international economic integration and increasing competitiveness in tourism, Binh Thuan tourism industry has positively taken the initiative in international cooperation. We hope to set up a closer partnership with tour operators, travel businesses and international media with better quality, contributing to the development of Vietnam tourism sector in general and Binh Thuan tourism in particular”. During the reception, tour operators and travel businesses from Russia and China directly exchanged information and set up plans in preparation for signing partnership contracts with local enterprises to take their visitors to Mui Ne-Vietnam.
According to Mr. Mario Anthony (India), director of American Society Travel Agent, most of his customers pay special attention to resorts in Mui Ne-Phan Thiet, so the company immediately joint the famtrip to Binh Thuan to establish cooperative channels.
During their trip from September 13-15, the delegation is expected to visit famous tourist sites and high-class resorts in Ham Tien-Mui Ne and Tien Thanh (Phan Thiet city), and Ham Thuan Nam district.
