BTO- The provincial interdisciplinary steering committee on food hygiene and safety lately mapped out a plan to take inspections and supervisions during the Mid Autumn festival 2017. At the same time, the unit has issued requirements on centralized inspections implemented in the whole province.
In addition to the implememtation of the plan, functional bodies will disseminate laws and regulations on food hygeine and safety to raise awareness of individuals and units engaging in food production and trading.

District and province-levels inspection teams will inspect facilities producing, processing, selling, importing foodstuff and concerning services in the locality. Especially, inspections and supervisions will give prior to food items consumed during Mid Autumn festival such as: mooncake, confectionary, jam, beer, wine, spirits, soft drinks, meat and products made with meat, ect…, to detect and promptly prevent the production, circulation and consumption of fake or outdated products, goods with unclear source and unsafe food products which was made from expired materials. Inspection work is scheduled to take place from mid-September to October 10, 2017.
