Binh Thuan province has actively made preparation for a serious, democratic, and lawful election. The whole province has 13 delegates nominated to run for the National Assembly Election (including 3 people introduced by the Central Committee). The poll will be elect 7 out of 13 deputies.

87 persons have been offered as candidates to stand for 53 deputies of the provincial People’s Council; 561 candidates are running for 339 seats in the People’s Councils at district level while the commune level has 3,017 seats with 5,058 candidates.

The whole province has 820 polling stations, including 10 separate ones for the units of the armed forces with a total number of voters of 978,269 people across the province.

As of now, all preparations for the general election day are ready and well geared up for the “Festivity of the whole people” (May 23rd).
