Like every year, the tourist volume to the province on days approaching Tet and the first day of Tet is normally modest, but the number of travelers started surging from the second day of Lunar New Year onward, causing many services and accommodations to be packed with tourists, especially prestige resorts such as: Mui Ne Bamboo village, The Cliff resort and residence, Romana, Sao Bien, Little Muine, etc.
Outside the heart of Phan Thiet city and the hotspot Ham Tien – Mui Ne, all accommodations in some Hon Rom, Long Son – Suoi Nuoc, Tien Thanh, La Gi town, Ham Thuan Nam and Tuy Phong districts also received a sharply increase in number of domestic tourists from the third day of Lunar New Year.
As reported by the tourism sector, the quality of services at all destinations in Binh Thuan is highly ensured thanks to careful preparation and scrutiny before Tet. Road safety as well as order security, food hygiene is also fully safeguarded at all tourist sites in the province during Tet 2016.
As of the last day of Tet holiday, the locality had not recorded any incidents or negative feedback regarding the price and quality of tourist services. Although the prices of food, commodities and services are rather higher than normal days, the hike can be acceptable due to tight supply during Tet.
In January 2016 alone, Binh Thuan Tourism started a New Year smoothly with nearly 392,000 visitors and representing a substantial increase of 10 percent against last year’s numbers. The number is expected to be on the rise in February 2016. Hopefully, domestic and foreign visitors coming to Binh Thuan province during Tet holiday can be deeply impressed by a “safe-friendly-quality” destination thanks to pleasant services and animated activities.
