Besides smooth traffic and pristine landscapes, Bau Trang offers a diversity of recreational activities for domestic and foreign visitors, such as: off-road motorcycle driving to conquer the sand hills, sliding down the sand dunes, fishing, boat-paddling, camel riding; along with appetizing cuisine of local specialities as: salamander, Bau Trang snakehead fish.
It can be said that Bau Trang tourist area was overloaded with visitors in the recent holiday when the tourist arrival has increased a dozen of times compared with about 200-250 visitors/day on weekdays. In stead of great number of visitors, the prices of food and entertainment services were publicly listed, without overcharging during the long holiday. However, ensuring environmental sanitation is always a big problem of Bau Trang’s management board. When the site was two crowded with tourists while there is a limit number of public toilets, many of guests ( including female visitors) must wait in line to use the toilets. At the same time, it is important to provide safe measures for tourists who use off-road motor service because of the danger and expertness of players.
