Activities held nationwide to celebrate Party’s 90th founding anniversary

The Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (HCMA) held a meeting to mark the Party’s 90th anniversary.

Speaking at the event, Secretary of Party Central Committee (PCC), Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council and the HCMA’s Director, Nguyen Xuan Thang, emphasised that the celebration offered an opportunity for the academy’s officials, Party members and employees to review the glorious traditions of the Party.

He asked the academy to further enhance the comprehensive renovation of training work; boost theoretical research and development; strengthen practical review; actively contribute to planning the Party’s guidelines and Party’s policies and laws; and oppose incorrect and hostile views.

On the occasion, the HCMA’s Director launched an emulation movement in the academy, encouraging the officials and employees to fulfil all assigned tasks.

* Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee held a ceremony to mark the 90th founding anniversary of the CPV and the 80th anniversary of the Coal Mining Party Committee (March 20) – the first Party committee of the province.

At the event, the delegates reviewed the heroic milestones of the CPV over the past 90 years as well as the achievements that Tuyen Quang has gained over the tenures.

* On the occasion, a delegation of Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee visited and presented gifts to senior Party members in the province.

The province’s leaders expressed their gratitude to the Party members who have significantly contributed to national construction and defence.

* Also, yesterday, an exhibition themed “The CPV - 90 years of glorious history” was held at Hoa Binh Exhibition Centre in Da Lat City, in the Central Highland Province of Lam Dong.

On display were over 250 documents and photos on the glorious milestones of the country under the leadership of the Party and President Ho Chi Minh as well as the development of Lam Dong Province. The event will run until February 9.
