Top legislator Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan signed the document on September 23 on the basis of the Constitution, the Law on the Organization of the National Assembly, and the Conclusion of the Political Bureau on assignment of the Party Central Committee to hold the position of Acting State President of Viet Nam.
Mme. Thinh, who was born in 1959 in Quang Nam province, will hold the position until the National Assembly elects new State President of Viet Nam./.
