A publish of historical-cultural relics tourist destination in Phu Quy debut

BTO – The People’s Committee of Phu Quy island district has recently composed and published a booklet on historical- cultural relics, and tourist destinations in Phu Quy. The Department of Information and Communications has licensed the publication.

The historical-cultural relics, tourist destinations in Phu Quy is a bilingual explanatory document (Vietnamese and English languages); The book is printed on couche paper, and elegantly presented with 4 main sections. The overview part briefly introduces natural features, the history of names, and potential advantages of the Phu Quy island district. The second part covers historical-cultural relics, introducing two national monuments of Van An Thanh (1996) and the Temple of Ban Tranh Princess (2015). The third part focuses on featuring Phu Quy’s landscapes, including Linh Quang pagoda, Cao Cat mountain - Linh Son pagoda, Cam mountain - Lighthouse - Linh Buu pagoda. Included in Part Three, there are 17 colorful photographs of locations illustrating the landscapes in the booklet.

56 nautical miles far from the mainland in the East - Southeast direction, the Phu Quy district is known as a place with great tourism potential. Therefore, the introduction of the booklet “Historical - cultural relics, tourist destinations in Phu Quy” will contribute to promoting the image of the island district to tourists near and far in the “Visit Vietnam Year 2023 - Binh Thuan: Green tourism comes together”.
