26, 880 Moderna vaccine doses allocated for Binh Thuan

At the conference, MOH’s experts provided necessary guidance on the injection of new vaccines, such as: Pfizer’s comirnaty vaccine, Moderna and Sinopharm’s Vero-Cell.  Especially, localities must ensure 5 main activities of national vaccination campaign, including vaccine accepting- transport-storage; inoculation, safety vaccination; vaccine quality monitoring; IT applications on Covid-19 vaccination management and communications.

Accordingly, besides 900 Sinopharm’s Vero-Cell vaccine shots funded by Chinese Government (The shots will be given to Chinese citizens working and living in Binh Thuan or Vietnamese people who want to work or do business in China), MOH also allocated 26,880 doses of  Moderna vaccine to Binh Thuan. The shots are among over 2 millions doses of Moderna vaccine donated by the US’ Government via COVAX mechanism

The vaccines will be handed over to Binh Thuan CDC and be administered for priority groups under the Government’s Resolution 21.
