Cyclers competed in 4 groups of ages ranging from 18-35, 36-44, 45-59 and over 60 with a distance of 55 km around the major streets of Phan Thiet city to the roundabout of Mui Ne sand-hill. Despite stunning sunshine, strong winds and high steeps, the race took place drastically and excitingly.
As a result, Tran Van Du (from Tan Hoang Quan team - Phan Thiet city) came first, followed by Le Quang Truc (from Tam Da team – Phan Thiet city) and Le Van Tai (from Ki Coffee Ba Ria) in the age group of 18-35.
The 2017 Phan Thiet open cycling race is within the framework of the city’s 5th Sporting Events in 2017.
