Trips on visit and extending “Tet dau lua” congratulations to ethnic minority groups in Phan Tien and Phan Dien communes

BTO – On the occasion of “Tet dau lua”, one of the traditional Tet of the K’ho, Raglai ethnic minority group, a delegation including representatives of Binh Thuan provincial People’s Committee, People’s Council, Vietnam Fatherland Front committee, the provincial Ethnic Board, visited and delivered wishes to the indigenous residents of Phan Tien and Phan Dien communes (Bac Binh district).

In 2015, despite complicated weather and prolonged drought, thanks to proper leadership of the authorities at all level and efforts of the residents, many good results have been showed as follows:  the productivity of crops was high, many economic models were developing, poverty reduction brought efficient results, systems of road, school and station were fully invested to meet the need of production and daily activities of the local; the proportion of poverty drop significantly over the previous years; the program of new-style rural area construction gained from 11-12 criteria, etc. The results above have somewhat contributed to improving the ethnic minority group’s spiritual and material life.

The delegation hasgraciously presented gifts to officials at all levels, village elders, and prestigious persons in the communes. “Happy Tet dau lua” wishes were also conveyed to all the community in the hope that they will continue uniting, helping together for themselves benefits and for the homeland’s growth.
