In the final against the Netherlands, Sinner delivered a decisive 7-6(3), 6-2 victory over Tallon Griekspoor, securing the championship for Italy. Earlier, teammate Matteo Berrettini had done his part brilliantly, defeating Botic van de Zandschulp 6-4, 6-2.
Sinner faced a tough challenge from Griekspoor in the first set. However, the Dutch player couldn’t maintain consistency during the tiebreak and eventually fell short in the second set, despite saving three match points.
