The contest aims to stimulate interest and passion for reading among young people, teenagers and children in Binh Thuan, thereby encouraging and promoting reading movement, forming reading habits and skills for the young generation, contributing to the development of reading culture in schools and communities.
For students of primary, secondary and high schools, contestants can choose one of three topics focusing on the content: sharing a favorite books or a book that changed your perception or life; composing a work (a story or a poem) to encourage people to read (illustrative painting is encouraged); continuing writing for a story or book you have read. The organization board encourages contestants to illustrate, make videos or use bilingual Vietnamese-English to make their entries more convincing and vivid.
Students of universities and colleges cane choose one of 2 topics: sharing a favorite books and a book that changed your perception or life; sharing an effective way to read books and its impact on your study, work and development of your skills.
The obligatory question for all contestants is: If you were chosen a ambassador of reading culture, what is your plans, solutions to encourage others to read more? This content can be performed by writing or making video clips.
The contest will be held two rounds. The preliminary round will take place in binh Thuan from March to June 30.
Entries can be sent to the provincial Library at No.286 Tran Hung Dao street-Phan Thiet city. Contestants can also submit their entries to their schools. About 20 outstanding entries will be selected for the national round in early September.
