Charity program offers Tet gifts to workers in Ham Kiem II IP

BTO- The provincial Trade Union lately held an event themed “Tet sum vay 2021” for workers at Ham Kiem II industrial park (Ham Thuan Nam district), with the attendance of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Phuc deputy head of the provincial delegation of the National Assembly deputies and leaders of Ham Thuan Nam district, concerning departments, organizations.

According to Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phoi-Chairman of the provincial Trade Union, this charity program aims to create a cozy atmosphere,  support officers and employees to celebrate a happy and full Tet holiday in accordance with the guidance of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour. At the program, nearly 3,900 Tet gifts (worth totally over VND 2 billion) were granted to poor employees, female workers with dangerous diseases, and families of trade union members who suffered from workplace accidents. Especially, each of 500 workers at 9 enterprises in Ham Kiem II IP was given VND 500,000 in cash and gifts. Besides, the organizers also held a number of funny activities with bonuses and valuable prizes. The organizing board partnered with the Ho Chi Minh city-based Agabe company held a special supermarket for trade union members with 30-50% discounts for some commodities.
