The program will give support to policy beneficiaries (15 years of age or older) who have been diagnosed or suspected having cardiovascular diseases that require surgery. All of them will get free heart checks and consulting. Those who are told by doctors to have further tests and other clinical diagnosis, such as: X-Ray, CT-Scan, MRI, ultrasound…, will get a 30% discount of the total examination cost. With regard to costs for treatment and surgery, Patients with health insurance cards will enjoy free-of-charge surgery and treatment while those who are not health insurance card bearers will get a discount of 50%.
Registrations for heart screening need to be sent to Clinic of Thoracic Surgery department-Military Hospital 175 at No. 786-Nguyen Kiem Street-ward 3-Go Vap district-HCM between April 23 and August 28. Heart operations are planned to be conducted from May 7 to the end of September.
