At the course, which took place within two days (May 7-8), lecturers from the Saigon Tourism Vocational College provided learners with skills of a tour guide, as follows: presenting destinations for tourists, proper behavior in communicating with tourists as well as cultural behavior in public places. Apart from useful knowledge, youth members also had chances to practise at a tourist site.
Phu Quy has become a popular destination in Binh Thuan with increasing number of visitors. Therefore, it is important to update tourism knowledge for young people, especially those who are working in administrative agencies, hotels, guesthouses in Phu Quy island, contributing to help the locality improve tourism services.
