Province’s leader visited to extend greetings to people of ethnic groups on Tet Dau Lua

BTO- On the occasion of “Tet Dau Lua”, vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Le Tuan Phong on January 18 led a delegation of the provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, provincial Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front paid visits and extended congratulations to people of ethnic minorities in Phan Tien and Phan Dien communes-Bac Binh district.

“Tet Dau Lua” is a traditional festival of Raglai and K’ho ethnic groups in the mountainous communes of Phan Son, Phan Lam, Phan Dien and Phan Tien (Bac Binh district). The celebration of Tet Dau Lua shows people’s respect and strong faith on rice, and pray for a bumper crop.

Over the past time, the Party and State have paid special attention to improving living standards of people of ethnic minorities areas. In 2018, the quality of all aspects of life of thnic groups in Binh Thuan province have positive changed, especially in education, health care and public security. Vice Chairman Le Tuan Phong highly appreciated socioeconomic development results of Phan Dien and Phan Tien communes. He warmly encouraged local cadres and resident, wishing them good health and prosperity to welcome a happy and cozy Tet Dau Lua as well as a Lunar New Year festival. He also suggested the governments and people of Phan Dien and Phan Tien communes to keep on striving to fulfil the targets set for 2019.

Tet gifts were presented to People’s Committees and dignitaries in Phan Dien and Phan Tien.
