To provide a happy Tet for Unions’ members, the provincial Trade Union has directed its affiliates and mobilized enterprises to donate funds/gifts or offer discounts to labourers. As scheduled, as many as 300 Tet gifts will be presented to workers who have been in unemployment after their firms suffering from natural disasters, fire hazard or facing difficulties; workers who got serious work accidents and have salaries delayed; workers’ families with ill people and workers with poor families.

The provincial Trade Union has also asked their grassroots units to take supervision on the implementation of payment of wages, Tet bonus and other social welfare allowances of local enterprises, ensuring equitable interest of Union’s members and labourers.

Official and representatives of the provincial Trade Union will also visited a number of companies in the province to directly extend their compliments and give gifts to labourers. At the same time, enterprises are encouraged to hold Tet celebration programs for their employees, organize gift-giving ceremonies and give special policies to those who have to work on Tet holidays and workers celebrate Tet away from their families.
