Earlier, VNA launched two direct flights from Hanoi and Da Nang to Jakarta and added another Ho Chi Minh City - Jakarta round trip on the same day.
The flights will all use their fleet of Airbus A321 aircraft.
Vietnam Airlines will also cooperate with travel companies in Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City to offer one day package tours on August 29, including return airfare, tickets for the semi-final match, a tour guide, transport, and all meals and drinks during the trip.
Vietnam won 1- 0 against Syria in the men’s football quarterfinal match of ASIAD on August 27.
