Measures to tackle with beach erosion along Ham Tien’s resort center

BTO- Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s committee Nguyen Duc Hoa has recently ordered the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to investigate and give specific guidelines to the construction of embankments for the coastal areas so that it do not obscure the sea view. Through the investigation, the authorities can come up with the planning of coastal embankment construction in the locality.

In addition, the Department of culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the provincial Association of Tourism urge the local travel enterprises to strictly comply with the regulations of the Law. In which, the enterprises are not allowed to build the embankments on their own choices. The embankment construction must follow the design given by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development. In case of using odd designs, the travel enterprises must ensure the highest comprehensive rules of embankment so that it does not affect surrounding areas.

For the implementation of the planning for irrigation development of Binh Thuan in the 2021-2030 period, with a vision towards 2040, it includes the construction in prevention of coastal erosion.
