In 2017, the whole sector has achieved 6 major missions assigned by the province. The activities of culture, sports and tourism have triggered eventfully and realistically to mark the national and provincial celebrations.
Binh Thuan has host a number of national sports tournaments, including sea sports and gradually asserting its national marine tourism-sports center. The tourism activities were observed in a safe and high-quality manner. The locality has so far welcomed 5.13 million turns of visitors, including 585,000 international ones, with a revenue of VND 10,810 billion in 2017.
Addressing the ceremony, director of the DoCST shared his pride of being granted the Government’s Emulative flag, affirming determination to uphold the sense of responsibilities, strength of unity, initiative, creativity, innovation and striving for fulfilling outstanding tasks.
The local tourism sector continues to fulfill the target of 5.75 million visitors (including 670,000 turns of international visitors), with turnover of VND 12,850 billion, deserving to be an attractive destination.
