An inauguration ceremony of the 1st-phrase waste treatment complex in Lagi town |
Attending the event, there were representatives of the Ministry of Natural resources and Environment, Vietnam Environment Association, and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Ngoc Hai.
The Complex covers a total area of 30 hectares, which can deal with 70 tons of waste per day in the first phrase. At first, the company installed an automatic chain with state-of-the-art technology. In the second phrase, the company will upgrade its capacity to 195 tons of daily waste and 255 tons of industrial waste for Lagi town and its neighboring areas, according to Nguyen Hoai Nam – Director of the company.
The would-be complex will replace jobs for hundreds of workers and recycle thousands of waste dumped by the industrial parks. The total investment is expected to reach VND 272 billion.
Addressing the event, Chairman Hai applauded the inauguration of the complex as it can push the local socioeconomic development and helps complete the province’s targets by 2030.
