The programme was attended by deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Duong Van An. More than 3,600 school children from kindergartens, primary and secondary schools in La Da commune (Ham Thuan Bac district), Phan Lam and Phan Son communes (Bac Binh district), and Tan Xuan commune (Ham Tan district) joyfully took part in lantern parades and enjoyed special artistic preformances and games. Apart from joining such healthy activities, all children were also presented gifts (worth VND 50,000 for each). Especially, 10 scholarships (valued at VND 500,000 each) were granted to 10 poor studious students in La Da (Ham Thuan Bac). The total cost for these gifts and scholarships (over VND 185 million) is donated by many organizations, units and enterprises in the province.
