BTO – Nhat Hoang Limited Company observed a groundbreaking ceremony of waste treatment plant in Tien Binh hamlet, Tien Thanh commune, Phan Thiet city on November 26th morning. The ceremony had the attendance of vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Luong Van Hai.

The management and treatment of solid waste is one of the leading concerns of the specialists, authorities and society. Earlier, the plan to invest a waste treatment plant in Phan Thiet city had been previously advocated by the province. As it is a major construction of Binh Thuan, the plant was soon granted investment certificate and invested by Nhat Hoang Limited Company. The facility, which has a total budgeted cost of over VND 495 billion, can process a capacity of 400 tons of waste per day and operates all 365 days a year. It is expected to be put into operation in June 2017.

Addressing the ceremony, vice chairman Luong Van Hai confirmed the importance role of solid and daily waste treatment in the development of Phan Thiet city. He hoped to see the ceaseless efforts of the investor against the difficulties and challenges to complete the construction as scheduled. Once completed, the plant would contribute much to the process of environmental protection and sustainable development of Phan Thiet city in particular and Binh Thuan province in general.
