Candle light in commemoration of revolutionary martyrs at provincial cemetary

BTO- A candle-lit ceremony took place in the evening of July 26 at the provincial martyrs’ cemetery to commemorate heroic martyrs on the 69th anniversary of National War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27). The event, organized by the provincial Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Branch, had the attendance of Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung - secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Mr. Nguyen Duc Hoa - vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, representative leaders of departments, agencies, units, and 500 war veterans, youth union’s members in the province.

In a solemn atmosphere, thousands of candles were lit to express deep gratitude of the young generations to more than 9,000 deceased heroes, who sacrificed their lives for the country’s independence and freedom. Leaders, veterans and youth also offered flowers and incense to pay tribute the heroic martyrs. On that occasion, meaningful gifts were presented to Vietnamese heroic mothers and policy-favoured families.
