UNDP to bring clean water to 1,250 drought-affected households in Ham Thuan Bac and Bac Binh

BTO – The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is projected to support clean water and water tanks, worth USD 150,000 for 1,250 drought-affected households in two districts of Ham Thuan Bac and Bac Binh during the ongoing drought disaster.

Accordingly, each household is able to be entitled to 16 -bottles containing twenty-liters of clean water and one 1,000-liter-water tank. The Assistance is scheduled to take place from mid-June to July 2016, aiming to resolve the locals’ demands for potable water and daily activities, contributing to epidemic prevention due to lack of water for a long time.
