Chinese firms survey Vietnam’s dragon fruit hub

BTO – A delegation from China has conducted a fact-finding tour to Binh Thuan, home to Vietnam’s largest area of dragon fruit on the occasion of the upcoming Conference linking export of agricultural products, fruits and aquatic products in early November 2017 in Phan Thiet city. The local department of Industry and Trade decided to choose dragon fruit farm of the Fruits and Greens Co., ltd as a destination to introduce the local fruit.

The survey tour was joined by leaders of the  government, Bureau of Trade, Dong Hung municipal department of Trade promotion (Guangxi, China) as well as 8 enterprises operating in Fruit Trading and Logistics, etc. Through the visit, stakeholders will continue discussing and linking to promote future export dragon fruit from Binh Thuan to China through Mong Cai (Quang Ninh) and Dong Hung (Guangxi) border gates.
