Binh Thuan police sets up 3 Covid-19 mobile patrol teams

BTO- The provincial department of Public Security on June 1 decided to establish 3 mobile patrol teams specializing in Covid-19 prevention and control to effectively control the flow of people returning from other localities.

Accordingly, those patrol teams are expected to take responsibility for going patrol to detect and deal with passenger vehicles that may violate regulations on disease prevention in accordance with Ministry of Health recommendation. Those violations include: passengers do not wear face masks, no sterilizer, number of allowed passengers, distance between passengers…, vehicles stop or pick up and drop off passengers along National Highway 1A….

Each team consists of 3 members, who carry out 2 inspection rounds per day from June 1. (work begins at 6 AM and ends  at 6 PM). Those members also take passengers that are infected or suspected Covid-19 patients to the nearest medical checkpoints for Covid-19 tests.
