Exhibition “Hoang Sa, Truong Sa belong to Vietnam-historical and legal evidence” held in Tuy Phong district

BTO - An exhibition themed “Hoang Sa, Truong Sa belong to Vietnam - historical and legal evidence” was opened in Tuy Phong district on October 5. The event, co-organized by Department of Information and Communications and Tuy Phong district People’s Committee is scheduled to take place within 4 days (October 5-8, 2016)at Tuy Phong district’s Cultural Center.

Items on display at the exhibition include documents issued by many feudal dynasties of Vietnam from the 17th century to the early 20th century; a collection of  old maps and  atlas proving Vietnamese ownership of Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos. The organization of exhibitions “Hoang Sa, Truong Sa belong to Vietnam - historical and legal evidence” in many localities has contributed to affirming Vietnam’s sovereignty over Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos, strengthening the solidarity and responsibilities among Vietnamese people and Vietnamese expats, especially the young generations for safeguarding our sea and islands. The events also helps international community learn more about the history and aspiration of the Vietnamese people in preserving the peace and stability in the East Sea.
