BTO – In response to the calling donations to head towards the Central provinces of Vietnam, Phu Quy islanders have donated nearly VND 500 million and 300 kilograms of seafood (fishes and dried squids) in favor of the disaster-affected people in those provinces.

On those days, a group of Phu Quy islanders in Thuong Chau hamlet, Ngu Phung commune are rushing to process thousands of ready-to-eat fish and squid and secondhand cloths to send to the inland and transfer to the needy people.

After some hard-working days, as many as 3,500 presents have finished and are ready to dispatch to the target places with the support of the local soldiers and officers.

Such meaningful activities expect to mitigate the great loss and pain of the people in the disaster-affected areas of the Central provinces.
