Phu My dragon fruit garden put into sightseeing operation

BTO – To welcome New Year 2020 and bring a new tourism product to cater tourists when visiting Binh Thuan, the provincial center for tourism information promotion has coordinated with Ham My commune to put a new tourist site of Phu My dragon fruit garden into operation.

This is the first of its kinds that has been exploited to be a new sightseeing model. Basing on its full potentials and strength, the model of agricultural sightseeing tour can boost the local tourism image.

Phu My dragon fruit garden, positioned adjacently to Phan Thiet city, will offer domestic and foreign visitors unique and unheard-of products. Sightseers can also witnessed and explore the process of dragon fruit production and harvesting.

Doing sightseeing around Phu My dragon fruit and calling at the stop point inside the garden, visitors can be learned about the local fruit’s specifications, planting techniques and experiences. Additionally, visitors can take souvenir photos and enjoy the best flavor of dragon fruit juice at the site.

Phu My Dragon fruit sightseeing tour also offer visitors with exciting experiences in planting and caring dragon fruit (fertilizers, watering, pruning, and fruit-picking, etc), enjoying the flowers at night and harvesting the ripe fruit. The tour also suggests sightseers how to choose best food processed from dragon fruit while participating in daily activities of the locals.

Holiday-makers can be taken to other tourist sites around the locality such as: Ta Cu Mountain, Ke Ga lighthouse, Mui Ne flying sand dunes, Po Sah Inu tower, and some other cultural heritages sites in Phan Thiet.

The sightseeing tour to Phu My dragon fruit garden is priced at VND 20,000 per visitor.  Phu My dragon fruit garden is about 600 meters from Phan Thiet city to the North. It promises to bring a new tourism product to visitors when visiting Binh Thuan.
