BTO – Phan Thiet waste treatment factory has officially come into operation with the witness of leaders of the People’s Committees of Binh Thuan Province and Phan Thiet City.

According to Mr. Le Quang Huy, General Director of Nhat Hoang Co., LTD, Phan Thiet waste treatment factory has been granted an environmental license by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment. In the first phrase, the plant operates 2 clusters of state-of-the-art garbage incinerators that can process roughly 200 tons of garbage/day and night. Accordingly, garbage is put into a high-temperature incinerator at 900 - 1,300 degrees Celsius to produce microbial organic humus, providing plant fertilizer; Only a small amount of slag, about 5%, is put into the slag pit and can be used as an additive for brick production. After 6 months, the factory continued to complete and operate 4 furnace clusters, increasing capacity to 300 tons - 400 tons of waste/day and night; Ensuring the treatment of all daily waste of Phan Thiet city and surrounding areas such as Ham Thuan Bac and Ham Thuan Nam.

The operation of the waste treatment plant is seen as a landmark for the Phan Thiet City in the upgrade of the municipal hygiene infrastructure and facilities in the context of the overloaded garbage in Binh Tu dumping ground.
