The race, which is annually organized to mark the 44th anniversary of Binh Thuan liberation day (April 19) and the 44th anniversary of Reunification Day (April 30, 1975-2019), attracted the participation of more than 100 racers from strong cycling clubs in many provinces,cities in the Southern of Vietnam, as follows: Phan Thiet, Nha Trang, Xuan Loc, Da Lat, Bao Loc, Phu yen, Long Khanh, Dong Nai, Vung Tau, and ho Chi Minh city. Racers competed in two separate groups of age: 18-35 and over 36.
With the purpose of developing cycling sports to contribute to local tourism development, the competition has two parts (parade and racing). In which, the parade part lasts about 7 km and the main racing covers 70 km, from Hung Vuong Rotation, running through Hung Vuong Bridge, Nguyen Thong Street, the turning left to Vo Nguyen Giap Avenue (two rounds), Doi Hong and the opposite direction to the finish point in Vo Van Kiet street.
As a results, in group of age from 18-35, Le Tran Nguyen Tuyen (Phan Thiet Cycling Club) won the first prize, followed by Huynh Van Thuan(Ho Chi Minh City), and Huynh Mai Duy (Ho Chi Minh City). In group of over 36 years old, racer Nguyen Nam Cuc (Ho Chi Minh City) came first, the runner-up is Nguyen Thanh Nam (Ho Chi minh City) and Le Van Dong (Ho Chi Minh city) came the third.
