Newly-conscripted soldierspaid tribute to Uncle Ho before joining the Army

BTO – On February 20th afternoon, leaders of Phan Thiet city together with 151 newly-recruited youngsters of the city paid tribute to Uncle Ho at Ho Chi Minh Museum – Binh Thuan branch and offered incense in commemoration of heroic martyrs at the city’s Martyr’s Temple.

Those youngsters also paraded along many major streets of Phan Thiet city before joining military services. On the evening of Feb 20th, a traditional and meaningful camp organized for the recruits took place at Nguyen Tat Thanh square with a variety of cultural and arts activities, camp-fire, etc., encouraging the youth’s willingness and enthusiasm to fulfil their duty as citizens to the motherland.
