Le Kim, Kim Ha bag two gold medals at the  2nd Asian Open Taekwondo Championships 2019

The event, which co-organized by Asia Taekwondo Association and Vietnam Taekwondo Association, attracted the participation of over 400 martial artists from 25 contries and territories. Being held at the Military Zone 7’s Indoor Sports Complex-Ho Chi Minh City from August 12-18, this competition is one of G2-ranked events of the World Taekwondo Assiation. Kim and Ha (from Binh Thuan province) are among athletes winning gold medals in the 2nd day of competition. Particularly, Ha earned a gold medal in the standard poomsae category (for female team), while her elder sister-Kim and her teammates also won another gold in the category of creative poomsae. Those are among significant competition events listed at the 2019 Southeast Asian Games (30th SEA Games), which is scheduled to be held in the Philippines later this year.
