Since 20 competitions were held , the Ta Cu mountain climbing contest has left a good impression on tourists and local people. Crowds of runners take part in its, every year. This is a chance for them to visit Ta Ku mountain, physical training. After 60 minutes of competition, Le Van Tuan (Dong Nai) excellently won the title of “King of mountain climbing”, Nguyen Hoa Thuy Tien from Binh Phuoc province came in first to become the “Queen of Mountain climbing for expanded category. As for professional category of Binh Thuan, Phan Van Thau (Ham Thuan Bac district) and Nguyen Thi My Duyen (Ham Thuan Nam district) respectively won the above-mentioned title.
The Ta Cu mountain climbing contest has contributed to promoting Ham Thuan Nam tourism. With fresh air and green trees from Ta Cu mountain, it has become a spiritual tourist destination and attracted a lot of visitors.
