“Iron Mike” has “softened”

BTO-After eight rounds, Mike was mostly pressured by his opponent and had to accept the points. Although he was not knocked out, his declining physical strength made the “Iron Mike” powerless. Recalling Mike’s heyday, everyone realized that today “Iron Mike” has really “softened” due to age.

The match was at noon on November 16 (Vietnam time), Mike and Jake Paul appeared with cheering in the stadium of 80,000 audiences. While Jake Paul sat “snobbishly” on a convertible, Mike was more casual, with a black robe and a cold face as usual.

Entering the match, with his “aggressive” nature in the ring, right from the first seconds, Mike decided to “cook" Jake as soon as possible. From the 4th to the 6th round, the audiences were losing the heat because the match no longer had fierce fighting. Despite his best efforts, Tyson could not move much, and Paul's attacks continued to make it difficult for Tyson. Tyson was not injured, but it seemed that Mike no longer had enough strength to counterattack the young boxer. In the last two rounds, the audience enthusiastically supported "Iron Mike", the encouragement from the stands seemed to give Mike more strength to continue struggling in the remaining time. The audience shouted "Tyson," but Paul "shut" them with a series of attacks on Mike. In the final seconds of the match, Jake threw a right punch and sent Tyson flying to the ropes. However, Paul did not continue to attack to defeat his opponent. Out of respect for Mike, Jake proactively slowed down his attacks and even bowed to Tyson when the match was almost over. The two ended the match with a friendly hug.
The judges announced Jake Paul's win over Tyson when Jake threw more than 70 punches in the entire match, nearly 4 times more than Tyson.

Before this match, Mike strongly declared war on a series of "masters" in the heavyweight boxing world, expressing his desire to return to professional competition and fight with new stars like Tyson Fury or Oleksandr Usyk. Perhaps after this match, Mike should reconsider because time has "softened the Iron Mike."
