The festival entitled “the story of Tet Cake” was held in the hope of bringing the best experience to domestic and foreign guests when visiting Phan Thiet – Mui Ne on those days. The most interesting and bustling part of the festival is the Chung Cake Festival. In harmony with the atmosphere of the traditional Vietnamese Tet festival, hundreds of international tourists joyfully joined the festival.
Those guests showed their great interest when wearing the traditional costume of the Vietnamese ethnics, and wrapping the “Chung” cake by their hands. Most of the participants shared that cake-wrapping procedures are not as easy as they thought since it required skillful hands and careful observation.
Besides, the festival was decorated in the style of traditional Lunar New Year through the old-aged and friendly sceneries, such as: Five-fruit tray, Tet cake, parallel sentences, thatched cottages, leaf roof, etc.
“This is the first time we have tried making Chung cake. The Cake is quite different from our country. It’s fantastic to wear traditional costume of the Vietnamese people and participate in such wonderful celebration”, shared a tourist from Sweden
These activities aim to promote the culture of the Vietnamese traditional Tet to foreigners and make them feel more joyful during their stay in the country.
