Cultural exchange highlights Vietnam’s sea and islands  in Phu Quy district

BTO- A business  delegation of Ministry of Public Security and Binh Thuan provincial Police recently visited Phu Quy island district, where they organized an arts and cultural exchange with theme “The Fatherland-Sea and Islands-Proud of Vietnam”. The event had the attendance of Police Lieutenant-General Phan Van Vinh-head of the Ministry of public Security’s Police General Department of, deputy Secretary of Binh Thuan provincial Party Committee Duong Van An, Secretary of Phu Quy district’s Party Committee Tran Toi, along with leaders of local and central departments.

Police Lieutenant - General Phan Van Vinh reviewed the nation’s glorious history through thousands years of building and defending the country, heroic feat of arms and Presidents Ho Chi Minh’s teachings for Vietnam People’s Army; expressed the determination to fulfil all missions with the utmost efforts and continue striving for national construction and defence.

Police officers from Ministry of Public Security, Binh Thuan province and Phu Quy district performed songs and dances in praise of the beauty of homeland,  the honorable history of the country and glorious feats of Vietnam People’s Public Security. Especially, there was also the performance of singer-music composer The Hien, who received great cheers from the audience.

The programme has contributed to enhancing cultural and spiritual life of local residents, tightening the solidarity and mutual support among the islanders to well fulfil all political tasks.

On the trip, the guest delegation presented gifts to 14 policy-favoured families and 20 poor students in Phu Quy. Binh Thuan provincial Police also offered 3 computers in support of providing free internet access for people in the three communes of Tam Thanh, Ngu Phung and Long Hai.
