Binh Thuan wrapped up the First International Performing Arts Festival in 2023

BTO - The first International Performing Arts Festival in 2023 with the theme “Creative Connections” officially concluded on the evening of December 10th in Phan Thiet City, Binh Thuan province.

Attending the closing ceremony, there were Mr. Duong Van An - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Vo Thanh Binh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee’s Propaganda Department; Nguyen Thi Thuan Bich - Provincial Party Committee Member, Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; Nguyen Minh - Provincial Party Committee Member, Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee.

Reportedly, the first International Performing Arts Festival 2023 took place over 3 days (December 8th-10th) with many outstanding and unique programs and activities. The program left a strong impression on the people of Binh Thuan province in particular, and a large number of domestic and international tourists in general. Particularly, the festival has gained positive sentiments and opened up sustainable cooperation in the field of performing arts between Vietnam and countries across the world.

Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Minh (on the right cover) and Mr. Bui The Nhan presented flowers and souvenirs to the delegates of the World Association of Performing Arts. And the delegations attending the festival. The festival gathered the participation of nearly 300 actors and artists from 30 countries around the world. With the main stage located on Nguyen Tat Thanh Street and other locations in Phan Thiet City.

The festival brought many outstanding artistic performances such as street performances, international performances, outdoor world peace concerts and parades, symphony performances, grand music festivals, etc. The festival also included training activities for artistic performance skills for students and students. In a closing speech, Mr. Lemisio Ponifasio, the World Stage Ambassador, stated: Throughout the festival, we have honored and immersed ourselves with the youth, the elderly, artists, cultural creators, performers, and the community. Performing arts have their own unique essence.

This festival will be a sustainable bridge for Vietnamese performing arts to reach the world and for world performing arts to come to Vietnam. It opens up new hopes for cooperation and cultural development. At the closing ceremony, the audience enjoyed exceptional and impressive artistic performances from various art groups. Artists from different countries dedicated themselves on stage with performances that showcased their local cultures. They presented the audience with distinct cultural aspects, a variety of colors in music and traditional dances.

On this occasion, the organizers honored the units, organizations, and individuals who contributed to the success of the festival.

The first International Performing Arts Festival in 2023 was organized by the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Binh Thuan Province. This event is in response to the Visit Vietnam Year 2023- Binh Thuan - “Gree Tourism Comes together”.

It aims to enhance the spiritual life of the people and contribute to the cultural and tourism development in the province’s integration and sustainable development process. The festival is an opportunity to introduce to domestic and international friends and tourists the unique cultural identity and artistic essence of Binh Thuan province in particular, and Vietnam in general.

Above all, the festival has laid the foundation for building a cultural and tourism brand that is characteristic of the province, creating long-term and sustainable investment attraction to Binh Thuan.
