The nominees, include Meritorious Artist Tran Thi Thu Van (for the title People’s Artist) and dancer Hoang Chi Thanh (for the title Meritorious Artist). Meritorious Artist Tran Thi Thu Van is the former chief of the Chamber of Arts & Choreography, and Hoang Chi Thanh is a dancer working at Bien Xanh Music &Dance Troupe. They both have engaged in dance for long time and achieved many prizes at national level. So that they have meet all requirements of the Ministry of Culture –Sports and Tourism.
At the meeting, all 11 members of the council have agreed with the recommendation and Vice Chairman Nguyen Duc Hoa asked Department of Culture-Sports and Tourism to finish all procedures to submit for the Ministry od Culture-Sports and Tourism’s approval.
