Binh Thuan to hold ceremony to lay down soil-and-water brought from Hung Kings’ temple

BTO- On June 4th, Binh Thuan observed a ceremony to lay down the soil-and-water taken from Nghia Linh mountain (Hung Kings' temple in Phu Tho province) in a temple worshipping Hung Kings in Phan Ri Cua townlet. Attending the ceremony, there were Nguyen Manh Hung, member of the Central Party Committee - secretary of the province’s Party Committee - chairman of the provincial People’s Council; Nguyen Thanh Tam – vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee and leaders of the province’s and district’s bodies, agencies.

Last mid-April, three provinces of Binh Thuan, Ca Mau and Hung Yen represented for 3 regions of Vietnam to participate in Hung Kings’ temple festival in Phu Tho province. After all rituals, the organizer gifted 3 offerings to Binh Thuan delegation, including: soil taken from Nghia Linh mountain, water from the Well temple and incense burner and foot in Hung Kings’ temple. Those are particularly valuable gifts featuring the spirit and characteristics of the people and historic relic in Phu Tho province.

After all rituals of bringing the offerings to Binh Thuan province, the local authorities have decided to choose Hung Kings’ temple in Phan Ri Cua townlet, Tuy Phong district as worshipping place so that the whole people in Binh Thuan can show their respects and faith to the ancestors, deserving young generations of Lac Hong.
