Binh Thuan: Teachers, students engage in digital exhibitions affirming national sovereignty over Hoang Sa, Truong Sa archipelagoes

BTO- The Ministry of Information and Communications in partnership with department of Information and Communications and department of Education and Training on November 25, 26 and 27, 2020 held three digital exhibitions themed “Hoang Sa, Truong Sa-Historical and Legal Evidences” in Tran Hung Dao gifted high school (Phan Thiet City),  Ham Thuan Bac high school (Ham Thuan Bac district), and Phan Chu Trinh high school (Phan Thiet city).

At the events, as many as 4,500 students and teachers were showed presentations and descriptions of documents and hitorical objects via video clips and digital models. They also experienced  photo shots entitled “Truong Sa moments” with tablets.

At Tran Hung Dao gifted high school and Phan Chu Trinh high school, teachers and students also met and talked  with Senior Lieutenant  Colonel Vu Cong Hoa  from Propaganda and Training department , directly under General Department of Politics-Vietnam People’s Army, about the East Sea situation and issues related to the sea and islands.

According to Mrs. Tran Thi Quoc Hien-deputy head of Authority of Grassroots Information (Ministry of Information and Communications), the exhibitions aim to raise awareness and responsibility of teachers and students over safeguarding national sovereignty over Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagoes, contributing to fostering the love for the homeland and the country, raising awareness, responsibility and action of the staff, teachers and students towards the construction and protection of the sea and island sovereignty of the fatherland.
