Binh Thuan sends over 4 athletes to compete at 30th SEA Games in Philippines

BTO – The Southeast Asian SEA games, in its 30th times, is going to take place in the Philippines. To be in full swing in that international sporting event, the Ministry of Sports, Culture and Tourism is selecting outstanding athletes across the country to participate in the games. In which, Binh Thuan shall introduce 4 athletes in charges of competing Taekwondo, Judo, and Canoeing at the Games.

According to the list, the Vietnam Sport delegates, led by Tran Duc Phan- Deputy general directorate of the Vietnam Sports Administration, include 856 members who take part in various positions from athletes, technicians to doctors.

The contingents of athletes will compete in 43 out of 56 sporting events; with a target of winning from 70-72 medals and 3tth place altogether.

Included in the list, 4 athletes from Binh Thuan province include two siblings of Nguyen Thi Le Kim and Nguyen Thi Kim Ha (Taekwondo), Nguyen Tan Cong (Judo) and Phan Ngoc Sang (Canoeing). All of 4 athletes have confirmed their strength and positions in the regional and national competitions over the past time.

The 30th Southeast Asian Sporting Festival is projected to be hosted by the Philippines from November 20th to December 12th, 2019. Sport-lovers can keep track of the sporting events of Canoeing from December 3-8th, Judo from December 4-7th, and Taekwondo from December 7-9.
