Noticeably, Binh Thuan dragon boat team successfully earn gold medal when representing for Vietnam to take part in an international boat race held in Kedah – Malaysia.
At the same time, Taekwondo team also made great contribution to the province’s sports when catching 3 gold medals at the Young Southeast Asian Championships, 1 silver - 1 bronze medal at the Young Asian Championships and 2 gold-1Silver-1 bronze medals at the World Beach championships.
From earlier 2017 to date, the high-achievement sports of Binh Thuan has so far earned 138 medals (an excess of 38 medals compared to the year’s target), including 51 gold medals, 36 silver medals (reaching 103 percent) and 51 bronze medals (surpassing nearly 50 percent of the plan).
