Binh Thuan launches tourism program “Vietnamese people travel Vietnam”

The program is expected to boost communication and promotion activities for Binh Thuan tourism, with the purpose of attracting more domestic visitors and preparing for tourism promotion programs. Binh Thuan will take part in tourism expo organized by Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (Ministry of Culture-Sports and Tourism) and other events in other provinces/cities towards the 25^th anniversary of Binh Thuan Tourism Day (October 24). Binh Thuan will also partner with some localities to carry out a number of tourism promotion models, such as: the development of tourism triangle Ho Chi Minh City-Lam Dong-Binh Thuan.

The tourism promotion program “Oh Wow Mui Ne” of Binh Thuan tourism, which was launched in early March, has been intensified to enhance the effectiveness of program “Vietnamese people travel Vietnam”. Tourism sector also focuses on encouraging local residents and those who provide tourism services to show their hospitality, friendliness and be ready to support vistors.

Under the newly issued plans, Binh Thuan provincial People’s Committee has reinforced the management of tourist destinations, environmental protection, ensuring social order, public security and safety for tourists. The roles of the community and Binh Thuan Tourism Association have been enhanced to stimulate domestic tourism program; mobilize the participation of travel companies, hotels, restaurants, transport companies, shopping centers …, through offering discounts (about 10-40%) and added services; building a safe, friendly and high-quality tourism environment to attract more domestic visitors. Violations relating to servive prices, food hygiene and safety , environmental pollution…

The provincial People’s Committee asks functional departments to implement the plans from now until December 31, with concrete programs and plans.
